A Minor Symphony
Talked to Know Hope a few days back and he shared that he was preparing for Fresh Paint Contemporary Art Fair in Tel Aviv. He passed along some of the new pieces he'd been working on for those of us that might not make it there. For you world travellers, Fresh Paint 2 runs from March 18-22.
Fresh Paint 2 opens tomorrow, March 18-21, 2009, in Tel Aviv at Hatachana. "Hatachana" (The Station) is a beautifully renovated old train station located between Jaffa and the colorful neighborhood of Neve Tzedek. It will be exposed to the general public for the first time during the fair.
Fresh Paint 1 was launched in March 2008 to a huge success, with 14,000 visitors in 4 days. Participating in this year's fair is Israel's leading contemporary art galleries and about seventy independent Israeli artists, selected by a professional panel. Fresh Paint 2 enjoys the support of leading art institutions.
