Amerivespa comes to Northern California this year with the rally held with meetups/gatherings in San Jose and Los Gatos over July 4th weekend (from July 2-5, 2009). The longer rides (one heads out to San Juan Bautista) are led by the good folks over at Vespa Club Los Gatos (celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year!). I met a few of the VCLG members at the first nice ride of the 2009 season just a couple weeks back on April 5th. Great group of people. (photo from our ride below)
We’re really looking forward to the rally. Registration is $75 per person (with or without a scooter) and if you register early enough you could win the new Vespa 300. Amerivespa 2009 is a pre-registration only event with a significant early pre-registration incentive.
