"This extremely limited print is of the legend Jimi Hendrix, in all his glory and inspired madness, there will only be 27 editions of this  giclee' print, at $600 plus shipping, all signed numbered, and left handed guitar drawn on some of the prints, I already gave 8 of them away to friends and family, so really there's only 19 left. Although not necessarily in that order. I joined the opening night mayhem for last weekend's "Bailout Rally" put on by the San Jose based club, Mopedhead. These photos are from the Friday night ride that left downtown SJ and headed up Mt. Hamilton. You should come out and join the fun next year.

THE BAILOUT RALLY
"If You're Not Broke, Then Your Moped Will Be"

We missed this the last couple years, but looking forward to the moped/scooter rally this weekend. Things kick-off today, June 12th, with meet and greet from 3-6pm at 327 E Saint John Street in San Jose. Around 6pm-ish mopedheads aim for the hills for the Mt. Hamilton Ride (word on the street is we may be dining up on the hill so bring a few dollars with you). 8-9pm-ish riders should arrive at 4th Street Bowl (San Jose) for beer, bowling and other fun things.

On Saturday June 13th the rally heads for Mt. Madonna (DON'T FORGET YOUR GAS CAN!!) for an overnighter and returns Sunday late morning.

Banksy in secret exhibition stunt at Bristol's museum

Graffiti artist Banksy has pulled off an audacious stunt amid tight secrecy to stage his biggest ever exhibition.

A burned-out ice-cream van is among 100 works Banksy has installed at Bristol's museum, replacing many of the museum's regular artefacts.

The reason the museum was closed was kept secret from top council officials.

Banksy said: "This is the first show I've ever done where taxpayers' money is being used to hang my pictures up rather than scrape them off."

At each exhilarating show, Davy (FOUND's plucky point guard) will share the latest magnificent and mesmerizing finds that have landed in the mailbox over at FOUND HQ, plus hilarious found tales from contributors to the new book including Seth Rogen, Chuck D., Sarah Vowell, Devendra Banhart, and Wire creator David Simon.

SubZERO Festival

Presented by ZERO1 and South FIRST FRIDAYS

Kick off summer with SubZERO, a diy, artistically bent, hi/lo-techno-mashup where street meets geek presented by ZER01 and South First Fridays. From dusk 'til midnight between San Carlos and Reed Street, you'll find two stages of entertainment plus 100 artists, performers, and musicians celebrating the indie creative spirit. Test-drive a custom low-rider bike, try your hands at stop motion, bear witness to urban yarn-bombing, travel back to the future for a nineties-look at cyber fashion, watch a little subversive TV and listen up for spontaneous acts of percussion.

And be sure to check out the SoFA galleries with shows to complement the revelries outside. Participating galleries include: Anno Domini, MACLA/Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana, San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, and WORKS/San José.
