ArtNights at 18th Street

Saturday, May 7, 2005, 6:00-8:30pm
18th Street Arts Center presents the second in a new series of free art and performance events sponsored by the Santa Monica City Cultural Affairs Division. Local and international contemporary artists premiere new and recent works.
One of L.A.'s most extraordinary performing groups of the past decade, Osseus Labyrint (pictured above) will premiere a new site-specific work outdoors at 18th Street.
Directed by Hannah Sim and Mark Steger, Osseus Labyrint has inhabited extreme, remote, conventional and self-made environments, exhibiting, filming and building things since 1989. Their works have been presented live and broadcast throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, England, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and over the World Wide Web.
