Ebay Works Tonight

An interesting hook for the Silicon Valley arts crowd - WORKS gallery is having an opening reception tonight (Fri, Aug. 26th, 7-9pm) for Michael Rosenthals' "Ebay Art Project." He bought a bunch of art work on Ebay (under $5), gave them to a bunch of artists to enhance, contribute to, or completely marr as they see fit, and puts it back out there for us to see as "an innovative exhibition....that explores the 21st century phenomenon of the online auction." Btw: "This exhibit is not associated with ebay or the ebay corporation."

Also on view at Works is Ema Sintamarian's open studio as a Works' artist in residence. We always love Ema and her work so stop by!
