Egyptian Museum's "Child Mummy"
In celebration of the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum's 75th Anniversary, there is a special exhibit called "Child Mummy." The museum teamed up with SGI and NASA/Stanford Bio Computational Center to CT scan the child mummy, now known to be a little girl, to provide a virtual autopsy exhibit of their findings unlike anything before. The 3D rendering projected film is fascinating, taking you through the process as well as within the mummy itself. The actually mummy is on view as is many relics they've pulled up from "the vault."
