An Integrative Bay Area Tour
Performers, Artists and Activists
Address the Urban Ecosystem
On Saturday, October 1, 2005, people from far reaching Bay Area Counties are invited to come together to participate in a tour called ART on BART. The daylong tour will include performance art, lectures, readings, demonstrations and presentations by Lorna Brod, Susanne Cockrell, Lori Gordon, Amber Hasselbring, Nicole Krauch, Jessamyn Lovell, Mark Ostapiak, Bill Owens, Rick Prelinger, Ted Purves, Levana Saxon, Jenny Selgrath, Emily Simon & Christopher Woodward. During the tour we will ride each BART line, passing through or stopping at 43 different system stations. All present will receive a book with performance details, maps, photographs, and information about how human actions affect the ecosystem.
We will board the SFO Airport/Millbrae train at Civic Center Station, San Francisco at 10:26 AM and exit at Rockridge Station for lunch at 1:19 PM. Then we will re-enter the system, board the Pittsburg/Bay Point train at 2:19 PM, ride to the remaining stations, and finally we will exit at Civic Center Station at 6:06 PM.
RSVP to ahasselbring@mac.com. Space is limited.
Please bring $5.80 for a BART ticket and lunch money.
