San Jose artist, Tim Cottengim, has been a fixture of the South Bay art scene for the past 20 years. Cottengim, a former board member of Works Gallery, is presently a vital and contributing member of PAN (Professional Artists Network). He has shown at a number of local art venues. His paintings, uncompromising in their viewpoints, are edgy, moody and powerful expressions of the human condition.
Barbara Simmons, originally from Boston, has lived in California for the last 20 years. Simmons graduated from Wellesley College and received her MA from John Hopkins. Her work has been published in the Santa Clara Review, Xavier Review, The National Council of Teachers of English Annual Poetry Review, and Common Ground. She has aired two creative pieces on NPR, and is currently working on a long piece entitled Cover Letter.
