Anno Domini (doors at 8pm)
366 South First Street, San Jose, CA
The Perpetual Motion Roadshow (an indie press touring circuit) is doing its monthly run of the west coast, with stops in Vancouver, Portland, Ashland, Berkeley, San Francisco and San Jose .
This month features seductive mesmerizer JANE ORMEROD from New York City, ethereal-floaty-pop singer LISA DEWEY from San Jose, CA, and subgenius street performer JANOR HYPERCLEETS from Redwood City, CA. The tour runs from Jan. 13th-18th, doing 6 shows in 6 days.
Inspired by the models of punk rock tours and vaudevillian variety shows, PMR is “fast becoming the best known, and best organized, tour of its kind” (Globe and Mail). Held in bookstores, bars, cafes and galleries, the Roadshow promises lively performances with the guarantee: No Boring Readings or Your Money Back!
